<p>BHP will review all early apps first and send out letters of admit, defer, or deny. Then they will review those who completed by December 1–they aren’t rolling admissions in BHP. </p>
<p>Also, McCombs is doing holistic review this year, so although you might be in the top 1-2%, it doesn’t guarantee auto-in anymore. Just an FYI.</p>
<p>just got accepted to McCombs today as well as a unspecified business major from out of state! Cannot wait to go visit and maybe end up with you guys next fall!</p>

<p>How was it?</p>
<p>It was okay. I had my Harvard interview today, and the BHP one definitely did not go as well as today’s did. I felt like the BHP one was really awkward, especially since it was by phone. He would ask me a question, I would answer, he’d go uh huh, mhmm, as he wrote stuff down. There would be an awkward pause, and then he would ask another one. It was really short though…like 16-17 minutes O.o (but he previously said it would only last about 20 so I guess it was kind of on track-ish). I guess I didn’t like it because it was more of an interrogation than an interview. There wasn’t really much conversation that went on and it was really difficult to distinguish what he was saying on the phone. I guess we’ll see.</p>

<p>i think so. The lady that called said that only a handful of BHP applicants were invited to attend. Why would they waste time and money to feed us dinner and personally call us if we stood absolutely no chance? It’s probably to recruit us to attend UT/make sure we’re not socially awkward hahaha. at least, that’s what i keep telling myself.</p>

<p>Has anyone who applied to McCombs but not BHP been admitted since the 12/1 application deadline? My S’s status has been on “we don’t know what major you’ll be accepted into” for a while. He submitted his application mid November.</p>
