If I get into UT Austin but not McCombs, can I apply as an internal transfer next year? Is it easy if I do the required courses?

I’m not too familiar with your GPA system, but your SAT score seems close enough. You might need close to 2200. as an out-of-state student.
If you want to transfer during college, you need nearly 3.9 GPA after your freshman year. But it’s definitely do-able. Freshman courses are easy as hell.

I just submitted my UT austin App and I put 1st choice: McCombs and 2nd choice: Undergraduate Studies.

I was wondering if UT Austin favors Texas residents over non-residents during the internal transfer process. In addition, I’d also like to know getting a 4+ on the AP Calculus BC and Macro-Micro test will waive the course requirements for internal transfer to McCombs.

Also, do I have a chance for UT Austin’s School of Undergraduate Studies?
