<p>I need to declare my major and I noticed that you have to choose between mcdb biology major or eemb biology major? Is one preferred over the other for medical school or are they both considered equal. I am leaning towards an eemb bio major since I like that aspect more. Are both perfectly acceptable for future graduate programs?</p>

<p>i would assume go for the mcdb because that covers more of the things you’re going to need to know for grad/med school!</p>
<p>They’ll both work, but I’m sure MCDB will benefit you more.</p>
<p>If you want to apply to Medical school, there is no specific major requirement, you only need to take the courses required for Medical school. Biology majors already have most of those classes included in their curriculum, so it doesn’t matter which one you choose. Just pick the one you are most interested in and think you will do better in.</p>
