@pm_user02
Be patient! My daughter (US/CDN citizen) got in last year and is now attending! After sending her mid-year grade, she got in computer engineering thé n’est day à nd got « reviewed-decision pending » for BioEng. A week later, she was accepted!
UW GPA: 4.0
15 APs (mostly 5)
SAT: 1540
Your stats are excellent so the odds are in your favor although it is one of the toughest engendering branch to get in.
She loves it but is working super hard!
PM me if you want more info!
Best of luck!
hi - @pm_user02 - congratulations. quick question for you - had you sent in any grades for current senior year or list of classes or did they accept you without that additional information? thanks!
thanks - @pm_user02 - was that first quarter grade submission unsolicited (meaning did you upload/re-upload your full transcript) or did they ask for further documentation and then you uploaded the first quarter? Thanks again!
I got accepted into arts and arts and sciences yesterday afternoon. I’m listing my stats in case they’re helpful for anyone. By the way, I’m an American student.
GPA (uw): 4.19
Sat I: 730 Reading and writing, 740 Math
Sat II: Chem 720, Math II 740
@elizdrew I only sent in my grades from my first quarter or senior year. They didn’t ask me to upload any kind of mid year report. I have the code accepted pending final results, which I think means you’re in as long as your final grades look okay.
@Sophiacc thanks. Did they ask you for that or did you just re-upload your full transcript in the Fall without being asked? Meaning did your status ever change from Ready to Review to “Further Review Required” before you were accepted? Thx again
@elizdrew I uploaded my full transcript without being asked but it only included the first quarter grades not mid year grades. My status changed from ready for review to accepted pending final results.
@Berman from my experience last year they start from the top stats down. So if you have great scores you’ll get a decision soon (Accepted, Accepted Pending final Results, etc). Anyone can be rejected at anytime if their stats are below the minima. If someone has scores in the “grey area” (i.e., if one’s grades are neither strong enough to be quickly admitted nor low enough to be rejected right away), then that candidate will have to wait more to get a decision.
