I'm applying to McGill as a US high school student.
I uploaded transcripts onto Minerva, and a few days later my status said "further review required."
They added midyear grades onto my checklist. But my school doesn't release those until the end of Feb.
But the deadline for supporting materials is in January...will I not make the deadline because of this?
Do they ask everyone for midyear grades? Or am I likely to be rejected because of it?
Thanks.

I don’t think you will be rejected becauase of it. I’m a current first year U1 student form the States…if I remember correctly, my guidance counselor sent my midyear report around Feb. I, like you was further review required…from probably January until the end of April. Be warned, you may spend a lot of time as that as your status. However, some people were notified much quicker. What I would suggest is to give them a call at like admissions/Minerva, and just check- but I think by supporting materials they mean like transcript, SATs/ACTs, ect. But I would suggest to call just to be certain
