Hey! I’m applying to the Faculty of Arts at McGill as an international student from outside of the US. All of the other schools I applied to are in Canada as well, so I never actually took the SAT or other similar standardized tests since it’s not exactly mandatory. Will not taking the SAT completely ruin my chances of getting into McGill? In junior year I received a final GPA of 4.03 and I’m an IB diploma student with a predicted 39 points - I’m hoping this can compensate but I do worry that without the SAT, my odds will have suffered significantly.
The McGill website states that SAT/ACT is only required for American applicants.
There is no mention that it is even recommended for overseas applicants.
Ok, thanks!
