McGill Application Question

Hello everyone!

I am a Canadian applying to McGill from the United States. I was filling out the McGill application and realized that, unlike most US schools, the application does not ask for the courses you took in high school/grades in those courses, any extra-curriculars, etc.

They only ask for test scores on the SAT/AP/SAT II. Am I missing something?

I also plan on applying under mechanical engineering. Is McGill's mechanical engineering program good?

Thanks for your help!

It’s because they don’t care about all of that extra stuff. Admission is based on your grades (so you have to send in your transcript somehow… I’m not quite sure how it would work for you since I’m a Canadian high school student) and your SAT/ACT test scores.

Things like extra currics and references are only considered if you apply for scholarships.

Mail your high school transcripts, and tell ACT or SAT to send in your school online.
