Okay so junior is finally over and i think it screwed me over pretty bad. My first choice is Mcgill, but after junior year idk if it's reasonable. Mcgill looks at the certain prerequisite courses and has admission minima. I'm applying to science, engineering, or commerce

Gpa: 4.35 weighted
Sat: 2120 (1st time), 2070 (2nd time), didnt study much for either of those and i plan on taking it one more time
Sat II: 800 math 2, 760 physics, 750 biology E, 740 chem
AP: 5 bio, 5 psych, scores for ap comp, us history, and physics havent come out yet.

The classes i will take next year that are relevant to mcgill admissions are ap chem, ap calc ab, ap literature, and ap french.

Btw mcgill only looks at grades 10,11, and 12

My average grades for prerequisite courses:
Ap bio: A-
Ap physics b: B
Precalc: B
Honors chem: A (it was freshman year tho so idk if theyll look at that)
Ap chem: ?

My primary concern is my precalc grade. Precalc is one of the most challenging courses in my school, even harder than ap calc bc. The minimum is a B+, i think, and i'm worried if my B will cut it.

I'm in the top 10% of my class which has about 550 people and i go to a great public high school. I'm also a canadian citizen if that matters.
Anyways, please chance me!

So, if some of my grades fell into the B range B- range would that hurt me; I’m in IB right now so that’s what’s been killing my GPA-- otherwise I’ve had all A’s??
And, plus-- what range does my SAT have to fall into…?

Here are McGill’s admission standards for American students. You have to be at or above them to have a good shot at being accepted. These are the minimum requirements so aim to be above them by at least a few points and you should be fine.

I am an american student, 31 composite ACT and 3.7 Unweighted, 4.2 weighted GPA. Last year I studied abroad in Chile with Rotary Youth Exchange and all of my grades from 11th grade appear as pass or fail (all pass). My classes this year are very challenging, but I’m worried that my lack of “real” grades for junior year will affect my admissions chances.

My classes this year are Anthropology, AP Lang and Comp, AP Bio, Calc, Physics, AP World History, and Honors Political Science.

I plan on studying international relations or political science, so the arts faculty. I’ve heard its easier to get into but i’m still nervous about my junior year.

I am also hispanic, just wondering if that will help my chances. I know that at american universities it can help
