Hey guys! I’m an international student coming from Africa and taking the French Baccalaureate next june
i’m actually half canadian (from quebec) but i’ve almost never lived there
the only two things that mcgill is asking me for are my transcripts from 11 and 12 grade, and my toefl score, and even if i submitted them since january 20 my application is still on “further review required”
also, as i’m in a french system, i have an average around 17.5/20, with around :
15.5 in maths, 18.5 in physics and chemistry, 17 in biology, 17 in history and geography, 19 in english, 17 in spanish, 18 in arabic, 17.5 in french, 15 in philosophy, 18 in sports (but who cares)
i’m now in my senior year, but last year we had the first part of the baccalaureate and here are my official grades :
20 in french writing, 15 in french oral presentation, and 10 for the groupwork (which is actually optional so it’s counted as a bonus only…)
For the TOEFL, i had a score of 92 (with more than 21 in each section which is the minimum expected, but only 20 for one section…)
so do you think I still have chances for getting in? Or having 20 in a toefl section is gonna make them reject my application?
by the way i’m applying for a BA and a BA&Sc and the minimum average expected is 14.5 for one and 15 for the other, so what do u guys think my chances are?
thank you so much!
