Hi! I’m planning on applying to McGill Class of 2028 for the Computer Science &/or Software Engineering program! What are my chances of admission? I’m a U.S. citizen and attend an American high school, I have a 1550 SAT score, I have a 3.93 UW GPA / 4.46 W (will go up once my senior year courses go in), and I will have taken 10 APs by the end of my senior year. I have 4s and 5s on six AP exams.
Your stats look really good so, I would say your chances are high. My son was accepted in the CS & Math major with a 4.0 UW. We did not submit his SAT as his English score was below the cut off of 700.

My daughter is applying to McGill as an international student, just wanted to confirm that SAT aren’t required for foreign students taking the IB, with the predicted IB being the main barometer for admission by department. For Environmental Science, the listed minimum are expected 30/42 for the School of Agriculture and expected 38/42 for the School of Arts and Sciences. She’s 40+/42 expected

S24 is applying - most likely as an applied math major. Economics would be his second choice. He has a 3.98 UW and got a 1580 on his SAT so I feel pretty good about his chances.
