Mcgill Class of 2018

anyone out there?? no facebook page, no thread here, nothing so far...
is this class just really humble/timid or what's going on?

Or just that acceptances could be slow to get out…

Or that this is a largely american populated website and McGill is a Canadian university, hence the amount of people on this website who actually will be going to McGill next year will likely be a lot smaller then the amount of people going to say Rutgers.

It is only the start of January, this time last year I hadn’t even started my application yet (applicant from within Canada) so if I were you, I wouldn’t worry.

I just got my acceptance today for mcgill’s 2018 Phys,Earth,Math&Comp Sci and Biol, Biomed & Life Sci. So they’re slowly starting to accept people :)

@Cakeater did they ask for your second semester grades? for me it says further review required because my second semester grades aren’t uploaded, but they aren’t released until the end of the month. thanks

^ they did not. I got further review required at first too, but only until I turned in senior year semester 1 grades.

New Hampshire represent!

what were your scores guys?

@Cakeater what were your scores man? Did you apply from the United States? Congrats!

Hey guys! I applied to McGill and received my acceptance 2 days ago. I got into the Biological, Biomedical & Life Sciences program. I actually got notification that a decision on my application was made 1 day after I sent in my midyear grades. I go to an American school. :)

Hey congrats! Did they ask you for a high school profile? And also, for the 3rd time, what were all your scores guys?

still waiting on minerva to say that they even received my transcript… ugh!

I was just admitted to the Faculty of Arts after I submitted my midyear grades on the 13th, and I applied from the U.S. (AL)!

GPA: 4.4 weighted/3.92 unweighted
Class Rank: 4/366
ACT: 36
SAT I: 2290 (750 CR/750 M/790 W)
SAT II: Literature-680, Math I-740, U.S. History-750
PSAT: 233 (national merit semi-finalist, and hopefully finalist)

I’m so excited!!

are people finding out in the mail or by email?

You’ll find out by email. They don’t mail anything anymore. @annac6

@miilal thank you!

Sorry AndroidRawal, I’m new to this website and didn’t figure out how to check on the threads i commented on until now lol. My ACT was a 31 and out of all the people I saw that got in to McGill on other threads, I seem to have had one of the lowest scores. Nonetheless, I still got accepted so don’t fret if you don’t have a perfect score. I got an e-mail notification saying they had made a decision on my application and that my decision was in minerva. I logged in and it said accepted. They said they were not mailing decisions this year so you can only find out online.

Does anyone have “Reviewed - Decision Pending”? Mine just switched to that today…

@RCLVRR I got it as well. what faculties did you apply to man?
