@Rukoki The Faculty where they are on the fence for him is “Reviewed-Decision Pending”. The Faculty where he got in is “Admitted Pending Final Results”.
Do you know what the status on the admitted faculty was before it was changed to accepted? Also, did the 9-10 days include weekends?
Thanks!
Any Indians here who have already been accepted? Applied on 22 Dec. Still says ready for review on Minerva. If u’ve been accepted, please share you stats. Mine are:
1430 SAT (770-Maths, 660-EBRW)
108 TOEFL iBT
Class 10 95% aggregate ICSE
@k_03 yeah i got accepted last month
@Rukoki It stayed as “Further Review Required”…which was what it was when they requested his mid year grades. I called and they said it would remain with that status until a human touched it again…which took about 10 days including the weekend.
@Reevers07 Congrats! When did you apply and could you please share your stats?
@k_03 thanks, I did the international baccalaureate and got a 40. I didn’t require any additional tests for language proficiency such as the IELTS or TOEFL so I can’t share those with you. But I applied in September, my application went under review on the 16th of January and I was accepted the same day. Good luck!
@Reevers07 Thanks!!
Was just accepted as an US applicant into Faculty of Science for Biological, Biomedical & Life Sciences and Faculty of Engineering for Bioengineering!
Just got accepted from the U.S. into Arts this afternoon. I uploaded my midyear grades just under a week ago. Decision still pending for Environmental Sciences (at the Macdonald Campus). Find that a bit odd, since I was under the impression Arts is more selective. Nevertheless, reiterating my stats:
3.44 UW GPA (with 8 APs)
34 ACT (superscored: 36R, 36E, 35S, 27M)
Applied on jan 1 indian further review appeared asked for midterm grades how long it will take for decision ?any idea?
@mah It should not take long once you submit your mid-term grades.
@k_03 thanks
@martblall What was your Minerva status on Arts when you uploaded your grades? Was it decision pending?
@Rukoki No, Further Review Required.
DD was just accepted and is thrilled. Does anyone know when/how McGill notifies students of merit awards? (Not the big separate ones with the January deadline…we missed those).
We are American, but are interested in applying for dual citizenship for our daughter if she enrolls at McGill. Does anyone have any info/experience with that process? We are not interested in dual citizenship for tuition reasons…we would like DD to have it for reasons of political pragmatism.
@NYSFDC how did u find out… from portal or i got a mail… when did u find
@NYSFDC Without a family connection to Canada obtaining Canadian citizenship would be a long process Also be aware that there are tax implications for dual citizens regardless of where they may live.
DD received an email last night, a few hours after her first-semester grades were uploaded to minerva
