Post your acceptances, rejections, deferrals, etc… here.
Just for future folks, my kid (at a US high school) got admitted today (12/8). Yay!
Congrats!! Did they email you or did you find the result in the portal?
They received an email directing them to check portal. (And thanks! They are super excited).
My US kid also received acceptance to Faculty of Arts yesterday (decline from Sciences).
May I ask stats and when they applied?
Congrats!
Did they submit quarter grades?
I think they entered all their classes/grades into their portal and that there was some sort of option to identify in-progress classes.
Thanks!
HUGE congrats to your kid!!! hoping to hear back soon… i applied october 13 did they apply around/before that time? and if you don’t mind, can i ask approx what their SAT/ ACT was?
You’re welcome! I’m hoping the same good news for mine soon. It appears our kids have a couple schools in common.
Submitted application around 10/27, self reported grades 11/26 (after receiving first quarter grades). 4.2W 30 ACT
Thanks for sharing and congrats again!
Thanks! Hope you get your posi response soon! Around then, yes, I think . . . . very soon after app opened. Submitted grades a couple of weeks ago. Their scores are “approx” 1550/35.
Sincere wishes that your kid (and, well, all the kids) receive happy news (from McGill and wherever else they want go) soon!
the McGill website advertises Jan 15 Deadline for 2023-2024 admission, how come you all secured early admission in Dec 2022? Does it mean you applied by Jan 15 2022 (ie during the second semester of junior year in high school)?
McGill has rolling admissions, but it is McGill’s own version of rolling admissions. Applicants with the highest stats are admitted first starting in early December. The closer you are to the cutoff, the longer you will wait, perhaps until March.
the application opens up oct. 1, so you can submit any time between October 1 and jan 15 and can hear back sometime in between
