McGill Economics and Employment

I have a few questions about the Joint Honors in Economics and Finance at McGill:

It is a joint program between the school of Management and school of Arts and Sciences. Should I apply to the school of Arts or Management, they say you can take the program from either school.

What will my chances for good employment be after graduation from this program (assume that my GPA is relatively high). I need to find a good job after graduating in order to be accepted to top MBA schools in America.

I have heard often that the business program is sub standard, who is econ?

If I graduate from the School of Arts and Sciences, will me chances of employment be greater than from the Bcomm program?

Internships?

Any additional info on the program?

Thank you so much to anybody that can help me figure this out. McGill, as a French citizen living in America, is my top choice University because of Financial considerations as well as the other factors that make McGill a great university! I need, however, to figure out if I can graduate from McGill with a respectable degree that will further my life not only academically but also in terms of employment and prospects for admission to top graduate schools.

Old thread but bump. Looking for same info. What did you end up doing / find out, OP?

If all you care about is getting jobs with decent pay, go to engineering. The rest in McGill is pretty much crap, unless you plan to stay and work in Quebec.

Regarding MBA, the correlation between undergrad degree and MBA is infinitesimal.
