Hi everyone, I got accepted to McGill's BCom & Faculty of Art, but I noticed that my major remained undeclared. Since I don't know which of those two I will choose, I need to declare a major (for instance: Political science as a BA) but I don't know how to do it. Am I supposed to confirm my offer before choosing a major, or am I to wait until next year when I'll be at McGill.
I also had another question in my ming, could anyone here describe me the process to be accepted in a Rez, everything is a bit shady to me. Thank you so much for your assistance.

no u declare ur major later.

check past threads on rez, its been explained dozens of times

thank you for your answer, but is there always enough places in the major you want? that seems wierd to me

^ Size restrictions are usually limited only for faculty sizes, not majors.
As long as you have been accepted to a faculty (Bcom and Art, in your case), you have nothing to worry about.

Only ‘special’ majors like Honors or Investment Management are exclusive, and even for those you don’t ‘belong’ to them until U1 or U2.

So no, majors availability is not a problem unless you want to switch to another faculty. In fact, students change majors very often nowadays.
