McGill Neuroscience

My daughter was accepted to McGill in their science program and so went to an info night in the town of Oakville to hear about Montreal and McGill - after the presentation my daughter went to ask about the science program and how hard it was to get into neuroscience. The presenters asked her what she put down as her expected major in her application and she said neuroscience - they told her she was accepted to neuroscience then. This is completely against what I understood - I thought you had to apply to neuroscience after first year and they said "no". I still don't believe this is true and I have no way of finding this out - its not plain and simple on the web site. If you have a knowledge in this area it would be appreciated. My daughter will only go to McGill if its for neuroscience and if its not guaranteed she will go to Queens and take engineering. I can't seem to get in touch with anyone at McGill either.

thanks

OP, ask this over in the McGill forum where there are more Mcgill wizards.
