McGill University '25 (entering fall '21) for US students - thoughts? doubts? stats? results?

I’m in the same boat!

I did it in early feb and I’m still waiting

Is yours still labeled Further Review Required as well?

me too! i did reported grades february 2nd and still waiting as well :frowning: hopefully we hear soon

unfortunately. I called them about it because nothing changes on my end and the lady at service point said on their end it changes to ready for review and is added to the queue to be looked at.

I might give them a call today as well.

Hi guys! I was admitted to Arts and Science last Tuesday, just 2 days after I uploaded my mid-year grades. US applicant with French citizenship.

Just got reviewed- decision pending a month after submitting grades…anyone else have this before?

I got that about a month after I submitted my grades… which was about 2 months ago. Still no change since then:/

McGill lists on the website that reviewed decision pending means your grades are higher than applicants that have been rejected but lower than applicants that had been accepted. What are your grades?

I dont know my uw gpa, but id says its around a 3.7-3.8

which faculty are you applying for?

Arts

i think you’re pretty much in their range then! good luck! <3 i was accepted to arts with 3.88 uw gpa so hope that extends to yours

thank you! i forgot to mention i have a 4.14 W gpa, what was yours?

When did you get in? I’m still on Further Review Required after uploading mid-year grades last Sunday.

Just a bit on tuition (my son is graduating from McGill in May - boy it went fast!) About 2-3 years ago Quebec changed a law so that international tuition was no longer regulated. What McGill has done is said the will increase just slightly year to year your tuition. But each new class starts at a higher tuition than the previous class. From a parent perspective, room and board when you go off campus your second year are SIGNIFICANTLY less than in the US. I was pleasantly surprised. Both my sons pay about $700-$800 CAD per month in rent (including all utilities)…about $550-$650 US. For nice places and they have their own rooms. Just something to keep in mind.
