McGill Arts or Management

U Toronto, Arts (Economics) or Rotman

McGill Arts or Management

U Toronto, Arts (Economics) or Rotman and my GPA without freshman year is around a 3.75 as well

McGill Arts: Safety
McGill Desautels: Reach (unless you had 36+ on the IB with 5 on math HL or 6 on math SL, in which case it becomes a safety)
U Toronto economics: Low match
U Toronto Rotman: High match (may become a safety at 34+ on the IB with, again, 5 on math HL or 6 on math SL)

Here are the admission standards for McGill:
[Admissions standards (US) | Applying to Undergraduate Studies - McGill University](http://www.mcgill.ca/applying/admissionsguide/standards/unitedstates)

Management wants a B+/A- UWgpa (a 3.5-3.6+ I guess to have a good chance) so in that area you are ok since you have a 3.75. However they want an ACT of 29+.
Therefore McGill management (Desaults) is a low reach, but it is rather hard to tell how strictly the admissions department for management will enforce these standards, so it is rather hard to say for sure what you chances are.

Arts however only wants a B-B+ and an ACT of 28, so I would put you at a mid match.

FYI: McGill and Toronto don’t care about ECs except for getting off the waitlist.

It is harder to find the standards for UofT, but I know as a Toronto alumnus, that Rotman Management (Toronto business school) generally does not admit many students with less than an ACT of 30. Again arts though is easier to get into at UofT so your chances are much better at getting in there.

I don’t know enough about UBC’s admission process to comment on it.

As a whole I would say that you would likely get into at least one (likely 2 or even all 3) of the arts programs at these universities, but admission into either Deasults or Rotman are far from guaranteed.

All your chances would be much higher for the Business schools if you could bring up that ACT score a couple points.

Is it okay to send in the 28 without the writing to these schools?

There is no mention whatsoever about writing in the ACT in there: [Applicants from U.S. High School programs (in the U.S.A. and other countries) | Applying to Undergraduate Studies - McGill University](http://www.mcgill.ca/applying/admissionsguide/2014-15/usa)

However, at UBC, ACT with writing is required; therefore if you retake the ACT, do so with writing.
