McGill University Class of 2012/2013

I created a “Y U NO” meme solely for the purposes of this thread: [MCGILL Y U NO RELEASE DECISIONS ALREADY?!? - Y U No | Meme Generator](http://memegenerator.net/instance/13459600)

:D

I got my offer today. Check you emails guys.

Can anyone tell me what’s my chance of getting into Arts with my final A-level grades of ABB?

McGill merely stated AAB for predicted A-level grades based on Sep 2011 admission on its website.

@ oscar: I thought you said you already had a deferred offer? In any case, the meme still applies to me. :P

I do, but I received my new offer for 2012 yesterday.

@oscarUK: already have the offer? Cong!
I thought McGill won’t send out offers until Jan.28th…
you got an email indicating that you were admitted or what?

Dear Mr .

Hmm since international decisions started going out January 28th last year, maybe they’ll start earlier this year. I applied Sept. 10th and sent in my grades in December, so I hope they go in application order!

S received an email today saying that his decision was available; accepted for both Management and Arts! S submitted his app in early Dec, and is an overseas Canadian at an IB diploma school.

FWIW, application was “Ready for Review”>>> “Decision Available”

^ Congrats to him! I know they’ve been reviewing applications extensively these past few days, since the admissions officer who contacted me earlier wrote another email to me requesting more information (I’m in a bit of a special situation since I’m currently on a gap year, and they wanted to know what I was doing). Still hoping for good news.

Congrats to those who have been accepted!
My status is still “Further review required”…

WhereTwo, what were his IB predicted grades?

Hey everyone! So my status just changed to Further Review Required, saying that they don’t have my mid year grades, but it also says they received my transcript from my high school which had my mid year grades… What the heck?!

Call them asap and ask.

McGill has now updated the decision release dates for 2012 – see here:

[Admission and entrance scholarship decision release dates](http://www.mcgill.ca/applying/decision/)

Looks like “overseas” decisions have started, and U.S. decisions begin January 27!

Haha… I was in an overseas high school during my freshman and sophomore years. Does that still count? I just want to receive my decision soon. :P

Madman — 41/ 45 points (38 + 3). If I remember correctly, management requests 35 subject points and a&s 33 points.

Based on S school, Canadian kids have received decisions, however, non-Canadians are still waiting.

How fast do they read your apps? My mid year report will probably be sent next week, hopefully, received by the end of the week. When can I expect a decision?

Status has changed to “further review required”. My grades will probably be sent out next week or the week after, so hopefully I will get a definitive decision soon!

I’m a US high school student and I just checked my status. It still says “ready for review” even though I never sent my mid-year grades. Have most of you had your status’ change?
