I'm having trouble deciding between McGill University and Oxford College of Emory University. I've already visited McGill, and I'm going to visit Emory soon. I want to do a major in economics for undergraduate, and maybe minor or double major in finance. I'm hoping to eventually get an MBA and work in business/finance. Money isn't a large factor in my decision.

I want to hear people's input on what they think the better choice might be for me. Thank you so much!!!

To me the question is really a matter of fit. Oxford College is a small, LAC type school in a small town which you will spend two years at before going on to Emory’s main campus (a mid sized research university) in the Atlanta metropolitan area. However, McGill is a large research university in Montreal. I can’t imagine that someone would love both environments equally. You should know after your visit. Good luck!

Isn’t Oxford College considered a “consolation prize” for Emory applicants who were not admitted to the Atlanta campus? That is the impression I get from a few threads here on CC.
