McGill vs. UofEdinburgh/St.Andrews

I am deciding between McGill, St. Andrews and the University of Edinburgh. I plan on majoring in Economics while minoring in International Relations. Which university would provide the best program in these areas? Which university has the best international reputation, particularly in Europe? Lastly, how difficult is McGill in comparison to the other schools and how much time should I expect to spend studying in order to get a 3.8 GPA and above? I do realize that this forum is biased but I would hope people would give me honest answers.

Thanks

Ok, St Andrews is known for its international relations…but its in the middle of no where!
