McGraw-Hill 500 ACT Questions to Know

I heard that MGH is not very reliable for ACT prep. People say that they use problems that are easier than the real ACT. I struggle the most with science, and was wondering whether you think it would be worth it to buy the 500 Q's book for science when it comes out? What do you think the quality of this book will be, and will it help prepare me for the ACT? Before I was thinking of buying a Math + Science workbook (maybe from Barron's or PR). Besides science I'd be buying separate books for math (I'm going all out for September). Maybe I should just buy one that focuses on science, since it seems like the workbooks are mainly for math.

I used it to study for this past ACT and I think it helped me out so much. I completed all 500 problems and made sure I knew how to do each and every one of them. I had taken the ACT two times before the school issued one on March 6th and had never finished the math section. This time I finished it with about 5-10 minutes left and feel really good about it. If I’m not satisfied with my score I’m going to buy the 500 science one when it comes out and take the ACT one last time.

Thanks. Any other thoughts?

I have alsoheard that MCH questions are easier than the real ACT.

I use mostly real ACT to practice with. There are 5 tests in the Real ACT Book.

1, 296 ACT Practice Questions, 3rd Edition had harder science than I found on the real tests. My scores were lower, but when i switched back to regular ACT I was in the 31 range. Same for the math.

Good luck!
