I am using McGraw Hill Math Level 2 book to prep for June SATII. So far, I have done two of the tests in the book and have found numerous mistakes in it. When I looked in the amazon review, ppl have said that it actually teaches wrong stuff. Is that true? I'm scared now. I can't find Barrons book anywhere near ..and I have less than one week for the test. Am I screwed?

grab kaplan's

best sat2cmath prep book imo

PR's is best.

I'm on the same boat as you, McGraw-Hill was the only Math IIC book in my bookstore, I've found a lot of mistakes too.

You should sue McGraw Hill if it teaches the wrong stuff.

But seriously, go to your local bookstore, find the PR book and if you don't wanna buy it, just sit there from dawn to dusk reading through the book and taking the practice tests.

Yeah, it does have tons of mistakes in it. I sent the Mcgraw Hill people an angry email (great tension-reliever, btw) and they apologized and said they were publishing a updated corrected edition. Pfft. As if I'd buy it now.

But look on the bright side: if you can catch the mistakes, it means you know your stuff. If you're still reviewing stuff, use PR's book.
