McGraw Hill's Prac Book

Hey what do you guys think about McGraw Hill's SAT Prepare book? I thought it was a practice test book so I bought it... Then found the 10 tests are additional in the CD. Anyways, how's the Qs? Has anyone done this book?

Yeap, i’ve gone through it. It helps me a lot in increasing my vocabulary and logical approach to CR and SC.

I think it is definitely better than Barrons and Princeton Review.
It is good idea to go through them.

CR passages are very long, some Qs are bad, but in general, it’s one of the best. The grammar instruction may even be the best.

Thanks! I’ll start using it recently! :)

I got the Top 50 skills for a top score SAT critical reading and Writing McGraw Hill.
It’s not great, the Q’s are questionable at times. The “skills” are fairly basic, and I probably could have thought them up too. I was told Past questions>BB>OC>Princeton Review>Barron>Kaplan>McGraw Hill.
Unless the others are worse, which I find hard to believe, then that order is probably correct.

Several of those are, imo, worse than MG-H for CR. I’d put Kaplan last in that list for CR.

You guys mean the prepare book or the practice book??

Hey guys what about tutorfox. Hack the SAT.
