<p>The Mcintire website recommends completion for prerequisites COMM 2010 and COMM 2020 in the second year. Applications are due January 23 so would I have to complete both courses in the first semester? Or do I just need it completed by the end of my 2nd year?</p>
<p>I believe they are a sequence, and must be taken in order. I understand some students are accepted to comm school towards the middle of their 2nd year, while some are deferred to a decision towards the end of their 2nd year.</p>
<p>charlieschm is correct, COMM 2010 and 2020 are a sequence. You take 2010 in the fall of your second year and 2020 in the spring of your second year. You just need to have them completed by the end of second year. Obviously your COMM 2020 grade may play a factor in your acceptance if you are initially deferred but besides that completion is all that’s required.</p>
