McKinsey and Company

Does anybody have information on people who work their, like what they majored in and where they went to school.

I'm also interested in this. You often hear about people working in i-banks but rarely do we hear about people on mckinsey here.

Ivies, private ivy-equivalents, Michigan and UVa.

Why not just go straight to the source and see the list of schools that McKinsey recruits at?

For undergrad:

http://www.mckinsey.com/careers/us_schools/mckoncampus/

For MBA schools:

http://www.mckinsey.com/careers/mbarecruiting/mckoncampus/

As far as some information on people who work there, you can see some of the examples that McKinsey puts forth. Admittedly, it's biased (it's basically McKinsey's advertising).

http://www.mckinsey.com/aboutus/careers/people/

Probably the best information you can get is through the career sites like Vault. Unfortunately, you have to pay to access them.

Wow Case Western Reserve is on there, I wonder what kinda majors they recruit...I may end up at Case next year and McKinsey has always really interested me...

People always talk about being an investment banker, but I'd much rather work for McKinsey than some investment banking firm

Me too, do mckinsey employees work more or less than IBs?

Consultants generally work less than bankers. But they also tend to get paid less than bankers.
