Anyone out there attending the McNair Scholar Selection Weekend?
As with any high stakes interview – never act like you are not happy to be selected for the program, put the phone away during tours and talks, engage with current McNair students, engage with your fellow candidates. You probably have some other great offers, too. Use the weekend to picture yourself at USC and being with your fellow candidates. Think about whether being in a selective program within a large university is for you. Most of all – relax, you are already guaranteed a wonderful scholarship package!
