Hi! I was wondering if anyone could give me some info and "reviews" on the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (The pharmacy program) ? Like, what SAT/ACT scores and GPA's are required to get accepted into their pharmacy program? I tried searching for it on their website, but I couldn't really find anything .. Also, I've heard that many of their pharmacy students were disappointed about going there? Is it really that bad? How are the faculty ? And if you are/were a pharm. student, do you regret going there? And how is social life? I heard the school is very small, but it can't be that bad, is it? Please reply back, thanks. I'm kind of interested in attending here, but some of the reviews I've been hearing are so bad, and then there are others who say the opposite; please, anyone who has attended here or know anyone that does, is it a good program?

Hi Jane, just saw this now. My son is going into his 3rd year next month, and couldn’t be happier. Yes, it is a small school and professors know you by name, not a number. My son has crossed paths with a few professors outside of school, and all have stopped to talk to him. He got a 1710 on his SAT, and graduated HS with a 3.6 GPA. None of his friends are disappointed or regret their decision. My son is very social, but not into parties. He does go to the movies, bowling, out to eat, etc. For the most part there is a lot of studying though, especially during finals week. He and his friends are literally in the library or one of their apartments from 9 a.m. until 11 p.m. studying. I also spoke to my pharmacists before my son made his final decision, and they both agreed that MCPHS University is a fantastic school; better than St. John’s and Northeastern where they went. This school might be easier to get into, but no others compare to the course work.
