Ive read alot of bad reviews about MCPHS for its pharmD program,
Is it really hard to graduate?
are there any perks? any downsides?
I got accepted and am feeling unsure due to so many bad reviews
MCPHS has a very low NAPLEX pass rate. I would not recommend going! There are bad reviews for a reason!
I also think they are on probation at the moment, but you should do research to verify.
There are other options. What are some schools instate to you?
theyre fully accredited again but ok is that the one reason MCPHS is not good? the NAPLEX passing rate?
My top choice is USciences since i come from the DC area, Philly is not far. does anyone know how hard it is to get into usciences? and if its a good school? im still waiting on their decision
That’s the biggest reason why I didn’t apply to MCPHS. I think it is very important to consider the NAPLEX rates when picking a pharmacy school. In 2016, the Boston and Worcester had extremely low NAPLEX passing rates compared to the national average. I think this is due to the poor quality of education that students are receiving from those schools. Also, there is a youtuber called Kevin Yee who graduated from MCPHS worcester and basically said it isn’t the best school. If you are deciding between usciences and MCPHS, I would attend usciences. I personally applied there as well and it’s a much better school in terms of NAPLEX passing rates and reputation wise.
The NAPLEX 2015-2017 pass rates are out now.
