but
if u got like over a 1250
i would say U mich is a match...
i dunno about the other two that say reach...cause i never looked into them</p>

<p>I disagree with the above poster on Michigan. The OP's UM GPA is a 3.55, and their ACT is a 28. Considering the OOS status and the below average numbers (remember, as a public, it's very numbers based), it's a reach. And North Carolina is an even bigger reach, even harder to get into OOS as a freshman (acceptace rate around 19% for OOS freshmen, comparable to ivy leagues). </p>

<p>Make sure to send a recommendation with your Wisconsin application, it makes a difference. If you are looking for financial aid, don't expect much. I got $400. Although local alumni clubs do give $2000 grants, it still doesn't make much of a difference in OOS tuition. Same can be said with Illinois and aid/admission. Texas is the big question mark here, i'd say 50/50 because of your class rank, and how the top 10% have guaranteed spots, whereas you don't.</p>
