i have a 3.7 WGPA...i think (about a 94 overall average)

i tried to take on a heavy course load for senior year because i want to aim high. however, i am close to clueless. i was looking for the architecture program of 4 + 2 but couldnt find much information about it. any help would be apprciated. i was looking at states such ass PA, NY, CT, RI, Mass, WVa, Va, NC, and SC. not too far from home ha ha. i saw such names as Boston Architectural Center, Carnegie Mellon, Penn State, UNC, Cooper Union(which i hated on the college visit), Pratt, Roger Williams...

anyways, any info would help alot thanks

april

You SAT scores are quite low right now.. I would retake both SAT I and SAT II... I think all of your scores should be at least in the 600's..

However, if you are weak against timed testing, I would look into art institutes or art colleges. They don't look much into scores as other schools and long as you have talent, you have a decent chance.

you'll get into roger williams.
pratt and especially cooper union are extremely competitive to get into (and why are you considering cooper union anyways since you hated it?), as is unc out of state, and carnegie mellon- all reaches.

Providence College is a good school that you have a pretty good chance at. They dont even look at SAT IIs, if you retake your sat Is and improved youd be in for sure, you might even get in right now.

yeah i do plan on taking the sats again in oct, bc i really want at leaat my math grade up..i got a 640 on my psats, so im hoping ill at least reach that...

yeah, you all guessed it, not a GREAT timed test taker...

butas for my verbal section....i have a tough time with the sats, but since i live in ny, i take the regents in almost all subject and i got a 97....do you think that if that was mentioned it would help my case? or no?

april

ps. any other suggestions for "safe" schools and "probaby schools" ??
