Hi all,
I’m down to 2 more semesters of my ME degree (senior) I interned with the Department of transportation last summer basically assigned for project inspection and contract/sub contract work. It was great practical experience.
This summer I really want my second internship thats more ME based. My GPA isn’t good sitting at 2.5 BTW.
Does the experience I got from my last internship put me in a better place to get another internship before I graduate?
I need to make up for my low GPA somehow and I want to believe with more engineering work experience (2nd internship)
I will be a lot more attractive for an entry level job by the time I graduate Fall 2015/Spring 2016 (at latest)
I really appreciate anybody’s guidance on how I can maximize my chances of furthering my career from this point… I will be networking and getting out there reaching to all firms possible with my resume.
Im at the the University of Alaska, Anchorage and plan to work in the city.
