ME/MBA joint programs?

<p>So i'm coming from a BS Chem Eng from Vanderbilt, trying to figure out my career path. I'm really interested in business, but I don't want to just throw out my chemical engineering training. What are your thoughts about a joint program like this? Is this something I would have to go out and work for 5 years before getting accepted? What do you think the future job outlook would be?</p>

<p>I am hoping the job prospects are good, as my son is doing such a program. I think acceptance depends on the particular school, your grades, your gpa and your work experience.</p>
