Trying to decide between 24 and 14
- for current Gtown students, when you were a freshman, which plan did you pick and did it work out?
- how important are those Grab 'n Gos?

Thanks in advance :)

i picked the 24, because 14 didn't seem like enough. I'll probably end up changing to 14 after the first semester though.

i used the unlimited...coz i thought i would eat a lot...did so in the first sem...but then in the second sem...stopped eating breakfast so 14 will be fine...also on weekends the food is pretty bad...so people go out and eat....14 meals per week are more than enough.

I would go for 24 1st semster, coz you're still geting used to everything and then you don't have to worry about food,w hich is a plus, you will end up decreasing eventually

14 is really enough. Leo's food really isn't good enough to eat there anywhere near 24 times a week. My advice would be to take some of the money you'd spend on making it a 24 plan and instead buy some groceries at Safeway and cook/make basic food in the dorm.

i picked the 10 meal one. i wouldnt want to waste 1 meal point on breakfasts. and weekends are for going out, so... i thinks its actually cheaper to get a smaller meal plan, and besides you have a lot of opportunities. you can buy bread and do sandwiches, or go out to eat at a cheap restaurant.

Yeah I got 10 too. Cafeteria food is boring and I don't think I'll be able to look at it more than 10 times a week without vomiting. I usually only eat 2 meals a day anyway and I can't see myself getting up half an hour earlier than I have to for the sake of breakfast.

Yea I agree with rob_00 and dressagechick. I don't see myself going to the cafeteria in the morning to get food so I got the 10-meal plan as well.
