I just wanted to address the new Burke hours that are in place this year. I think that closing a dining hall especially on a college campus at 6 pm is an unrealistic expectation given that we have later classes or that get out at 5:45. Burke really is the only quick/convenient place for residents of Tutwiler, Harris, Parham, and Burke to attend. Going to Lakeside either requires two buses or walking, which not everyone has time for. I understand closing on Friday’s but also taking our Sunday’s away either forcing us to go across campus or purchase food.
