<p>k, well i'm not speaking from firsthand experience, but my brother is a junior at the u and here's what he thinks:</p>
<ol>
<li>even though the 19 is just $100 more, it's way more meals than you'll need (esp. if your dining hall isn't one of the ones that stays open til midnight)</li>
<li>flexdine points are indispensible. he uses them mostly for pizza, and they're a godsend for late night studying/leftovers.</li>
<li>most of the dining halls are "all you care to eat." fountain pop, soft serve, plus 3/4 options for meals. salad bar, etc. not bad all-in-all.</li>

<p>It really depends on the person. I have 19 and usually eat around 16-17, but I get up and eat breakfast and have time for lunch in between classes everyday. My roommate only has 14 and thats plenty for him. I have friends that have 14 and only use 6 and are mad they paid for that many.</p>
