Meal Plan Suggestions?

Does anyone have any suggestions for which level meal plan my D should pick? If we read the info correctly, any leftover money would carryover to spring and she can add money if the funds run low. Is this correct? We've spoken to a few students that said they rarely ate more than 2 meals a day. Any input would be appreciated.

Well for me personally I got 3 because it was just in the middle, and if its too much I can go down one or if it’s too less I can add on! I plan on only using it for lunch and dinner and the very occasional breakfast!

Our S is no longer in the dorm but if the program is the same there is really no benefit (savings) to starting with a higher level. We bought the lowest and then added cash as needed. That way PSU wasn’t sitting on our money and we were able to earn credit card cash back when we added money, which you can do with your credit card.

1moremom… Thanks that’s really good advice. I would rather add money than end up losing it and if it’s that easy to add money, then that’s the way to go.

It took less than five minutes, online with a credit card.

Great advice 1moremom. Are you sure they didn’t charge you a fee like 2 or 2.5% for using the credit card? They do that with tuition payment.

At the time I did it (two years ago) there was no fee. (There was a fee to charge tuition.)
