I am wondering what meal plan to sign up for. I am a girl, and I don't eat that much. I am debating between the "Club M Diplomat" and the "Passport Plus". Could anyone recommend which would be a better deal?

I've always had Diplomat, and my friends who initially chose Passport all switched after a semester. IMO, Diplomat is much more flexible, and at the end of the year, almost all of your extra meal plan money can be put back into your bursar account (you have to pay a $35 charge). It's definitely the better plan if you want to eat a la carte instead of at an all-you-can-eat dining hall. Some people like Passport- it's probably convenient if you live next to a dining hall and you always eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner there.

Thanks so much! I think that is what I am signing up for, it seems like the best choice for my eating habits.

what are all the different meal plans and what is a good one if you just want the most food? and if you dont want your food to be garbage. Is food good at miami?

diplomat (like a debit card) is best

food is excellent, i think there is a thread about this
