<p>I'm a transfer student and was wondering if it's a good idea to get a meal plan or not? What are your opinions?</p>
<p>Personally I wouldn’t…there’s plenty of food options right around campus (i.e. at the food trucks, you can get a decent meal for around $5; meanwhile a meal with the dining halls is going to run between $7-12) Especially if you have access to a kitchen, you can save quite a bit if you cook for yourself.</p>
