Looking for advice on meal plan options for (a vegetarian) freshman year. Which are the most practical plans, and where are the best places to eat on or off campus. Thanks for any suggestions…

Brandeis one some award for outstanding vegan and vegetarian options or something. That being said, for all meal plans the 10 meals and 525 points (or however many points it is) is by the far the best meal plan. Usdan will have some pretty good options for you, Sherman might be a little more limited. And Einsteins and the C-Store have alot of pre made things as well.

Eliyahu, thanks for clarifying the best plan to go with. Sounds the most practical. Also, good to know the options for vegetarian and vegan choices are commendable.

Is the 10 meal/525 point plan the best option for non vegan/vegetarian as well? How many students actually benefit from the 21 meal plan?

10 meal/525 points it the best meal plan for everyone.

No one ever uses the 21 meal plan, it is a huge waste. 14 meals is also pretty inconvenient, there are some thing that you can’t use on a meal, and have to have points to buy them.
