Meal plans!

ok so i’m an incoming freshman, and i know i’m going to be really busy, so i probably wont have time to eat in the dining halls 3 times a day…especially if there are certain hours that they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner.
any recommendations?
people happy with their plans?
unhappy?

the dining hall hours pretty much suck. i'd say don't get the plans with the most meals, because i had at least 20 left over even though i probably ate at the dining hall a lot. you can also use the meals at express locations in mcclelland (quad) and hill to get stuff and take it back to your room or wherever.

There are quite lengthy hours for Dining at Penn. I'd suggest you consider your personal style, available funds and make your decision based on those.

the main things i didnt expect when it comes to dining:
-there's no place to get breakfast on the weekend before 11
-dinner ends early on friday/saturday night
-"lite meals" aren't worth the $12 or whatever it is each time they swipe your card
-chick-fil-a there isn't half as good as an actual chic-fil-a restaurant you'd go to at home
-the subway workers close 15-20 minutes early just to frustrate you
-the express location in mcclelland is really slow on restocking stuff

well thank you. so, assuming i'm staying at the quad (i find out friday) should i get the liberty or the blue plan. i'm thinking more dining dollars sounds nice, but isn't the quad close to mcclelland? and that uses meals right? what kind of stuff do they have there?
