I am planning to get the Any 9 meal plan and was wondering if that was enough. The 200 entree plus dollars per term comes down to like $15 per week, which isn't very much. So, you get like 2 meals out of the $15 entree plus dollars, which only amounts to 11 meals a week total. That still leaves about 10 meals a week left? Do people just not eat those last 10 meals? Do you get them free? How much money do people usually spend on top of the ANy 9 meal plan?

i think its always good to get extra. you might have friends to visit you, and they ALWAYS want to try dining hall food. they all love it since it's free.

You will never go to breakfast.

maguo..what dorm r u living in that determines how many meals u will need?

Maguo -- are you trading down to save money? If you think you'll eat at least 13-14 meals a week, it's better to do the Flex 13.

Your opinion might change after eating the stuff they serve!

I'm living in fletcher hall, so how does that affect things?
In response to snorky, I thought the any 9 and any 13 was the same price.
And yes, I wanted to move down to 9 after tasting the horrible east quad food during orientation.

U of M food sucks. It really doesn't matter which residence hall you live in. You are still gonna get crappy food.

Fletcher is kind of a problem because there isn't a dining hall nearby. You'll have to walk to South for most of your meals. You may be better off with the Any 9 -- and then you can spend your Entree Plus money in the Union and the snack bars in the dorms.
