Which meal plan is best? Do people who get the most expensive plan have a bunch of points left over?

Also, is the cost of the meal plan included in the overall cost of attendance? I assume it should be, but can't find anything that specifically states it.

Which plan you get depends on your eating habits. I’ve always chosen the ultimate plan (I think that’s what it’s called); more points and more flex passes = getting to eat at the Union, cafes, and grab ‘n’ gos much more often. The 200 points you get with the value plan seems like it’s not nearly enough; I go through that in a month and a half, maximum. 500 (and the flex passes) are much more reasonable.

Keep in mind this is my personal experience; there are also people that get the other plan because they don’t utilize the Union/cafes/grab n gos as much. You should probably get the ultimate plan, at least for your first year. Better to have a lot of points than run out and wish you’d gone with the other plan.
