I applied undecided to all 3 schools and was admitted to each of them. I believe I would like to pursue a career in a form of engineering however I am unsure of which one to attend. I currently live in SE Pennsylvania. I know each school has a fantastic engineering program. However I would like to know the Pros and Cons of each institution. Also is it hard to transfer into these programs, and did I potentially screw myself by applying undecided? Tuition is not an issue however my geographic location in regards to Purdue is a problem. I basically have narrowed it down to PSU or Vt however i am not ruling Purdue out just yet. Thanks.

bump…

As you said, they all have very good engineering programs. I’m not sure why Purdue’s location would be an issue since you would have to live on campus anyway. Personally, I’d go with the lowest cost option. Perhaps you could get useful information by posting this question at each of the specific college pages?

For VT, you didn’t screw yourself by applying undecided. Check out the VT website for information on transferring from University Studies to Engineering. The only difficulty I see is taking one of the required intro engineering classes as a freshman.
