Mech engineering schools for an international student

Hi guys , I am an international student looking for good engineering schools (mechanical eng) on the US maybe with some financial aid, my stats are 3.6/4 gpa 18/20 country grade system
Sat taking it on may hoping for a 1900-2000
Very good ECs model of un (won at an international conference ) , lots of volunteer hours , counselor at an ecological movement , member of a religious foundation that gather funds for the poor

If you get a high SAT (2100+) look at the schools that are need blind + full need for internationals: (All of these schools are hyper selective however)
Amherst College
Dartmouth College
Harvard University
MIT
Princeton University
Yale University

Thanks for your reply ! , is it advisable for an international student to apply for ED?

Also look at other [Association of Independent Technological Universities: AITU](http://theaitu.org) schools. Some of them have financial aid for international students.

^^The schools mentioned are way too selective for the OP.

Read through everything there. Then make an appointment with the counselors at the advising center closest to where you live. They are expert at helping students in your country find good places to study here.

You also need to find out if employers in your home country prefer any particular universities here. Remember, you will need to be able to get a job there after you graduate.
