Hi, I live in NJ and I am Indian. I would like to do some sort of engineering, right now automotive engineering. Penn’s SAE program really interests me. Since I also like biology, I will keep bioengineering as a fallback major. Here are my stats:

So, what do you guys think?

b u m p

Someone please respond!

well your sat is a little on the low side, but i'm not really too sure of your chances there

bump guys

I'd say UMCP and UMICH are pretty good match. I would say though tha you better get in your UMICH app fast as they are rolling admissions.

yo... u from tenafly? cuz u guys kicked our asses in the chem olympiad

Im in the same boat as u, except im an international. same ethnicity tho, and SAT I of 1350. Id say for a U.S resident, ur SAT is on the lower side, but might be goo enough for CMU. Cornell is a definite possibility, but a reach nonetheless. Check out my thread "Chance at Ivies" if u want to compare stats and draw some conclusions about ur chances from there.

good luck!

Comparing your statistics to those of students who have applied to similiar universities from my PA high school over the past few years, i'd say you have a very good chance Carnegie Mellon and Cornell. Lehigh should be a lock, and Michigan is a match, though it could be easier / more difficult depending on whether you work the rolling admissions to your advantage. Penn is a reach, but you are a strong applicant, and have a chance.
