Mechanical Engineering Class Sizes

What are the general entry and upper level class sizes for Mechanical Engineering students?

I don’t know about upper-level, but introductory Engineering courses, along with the basic level Physics and Math courses that go with them, are generally 120 student lectures with a 20 or so student recitation.

The intro to MechE is about 140 right now, I believe, which they said is the largest it has been in quite a while. Not sure about upper level courses, but in sophomore year you take thermo and statics with everyone who’s a MechE in your year, which should roughly be between 125 and 150 people.

145 exactly, in fact.
