Mechanical Engineering Summer 2011

Hi, I'm currently an ME undergrad finishing my freshman year. I'm planning to take ME 40 and ME C85 together. When I checked online, it seems that the ME 40 lecture has a 30 min overlap with the ME C85 discussion section. Do you think this will be a problem?

And also, do you think taking both ME 40 and C85 during the summer will be manageable? I heard each course will require a lot of time commitment and work.

ME second year here. ME 40 and c85 are not bad work wise. I just think that they are boring. Most people dislike thermo. I liked thermo but disliked statics.

I would also suggest you look into ME104. Tongue is teaching it in the summer. I had him last fall and it was interesting. I took statics and dynamics at the same time. Most of the time prereqs are not really necessary…

Good luck in ME. Maybe I might see you in Etch.

… Is any one of you planning to graduate in 3 years?
