Hi guys,

Is it manageable to major in 2 engineering majors? I understand that industrial is a little like business so I was hoping of doing these 2 majors? Does anyone have experience with this? I don't mind staying 1-2 years extra.

Doesn’t make much sense to me. Better off with options:

a) Bachelor’s in mechanical, masters in industrial
b) Bachelor’s in mechancial, MBA
c) Bachelor’s in industrial, MBA

If you’re not going to be an “industrial engineer” by profession then just take some advanced statistics, economics, CS, and/or business classes, as IE is much a hybrid of these 4 disciplines along with ME and Mfg. engineering.

I think Kettering University does a ME/IE double major.
