Mechanical pencil on AP FR

I used mechanical pencil on Calc. AB (they said we could use No.2 penicl or a pen), and I was wondering if it's ok. are they gonna scan it? And if so, i guess mechanical pencil's ok too, right?

Also, on AP Phys. B, can we also use mech pencil?

yep, it works because they dont scan it, someone reads it

Also, mechanical pencil's use number two graphite. It usually says it on the graphite cases. Is it graphite btw? People always say but I thought it was some some composite of graphite and something else.

I've heard that you shouldn't use mechanical penciles on scan tron tests, anyone know if that is true?

well it takes longer to fill in the bubbles b/c there is less surface area. also you run the risk of damaging your sheet with mech penciles.

i've used mechanical pencils on all scantron tests in school, my SATs, several SAT II's, and 3 AP's. Just check the refill case to make sure you are using #2. never had a problem.
